# Variable: host

A host the space pays to keep it online: its own subscription there
(`space:<id>`, spec 08 §2), which anyone in the space may chip in for.
Members' devices hand that host the space's pass once someone has paid, so
it carries the space without being able to read it. Only those who may
manage it choose the host: naming one sends it every member's pass.
