# Type Alias: Envelope

What an author signs and a version's id hashes: everything but the id, the
signature and the body, with the body's content id in its place. It checks
without the body, so a superseded version can be kept, and synced, as this
alone.

Content id of the canonical body. Absent on a delete, which has none.
